Join to apply for the SEND Teacher role at TieTalent. Core subject tutoring for Maths, English, or Science with young people who have SEN/SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs, based in Norfolk.
Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the wide variety of needs we support. Targeted Provision is committed to transforming the quality of education provided to vulnerable learners and keeps the team around the child, supported throughout every placement by our SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is suitable for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who are interested in 1:1 tutoring with children and young people with a range of learning needs, using a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed approach to raise engagement and improve educational outcomes.

Role and responsibilities
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other additional educational needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support young people referred by local authorities and schools in their educational and social-emotional journey
* Deliver flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* Plan each session of teaching, tutoring, and mentoring
* Deliver engaging sessions that meet individual needs and advance educational and social-emotional progress
* Complete lesson reports and provide feedback on progress
Requirements
* Professional Teaching Qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years of teaching experience
* Experience with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other additional educational needs
* Experience and understanding of safeguarding processes
* Enhanced DBS (assistance available to obtain at cost)
* Two professional references
* UK residence with right to work (remote/online work included)
* Ability to promote health, safety, and wellbeing of children and young people and follow safeguarding policies at all times
Employment status
* Engagement as a Worker for short-term engagements as they arise
* Contract for service with PAYE payments
* No fixed amount of work or expenses coverage
* Company insurance covers the work you do
* This is not a self-employed tutoring/teaching position
