We are recruiting a Period Dignity Practitioner at Caerphilly County Borough Council.
Working hours: 14 hours (7.24 Monday and Tuesday)
Contract Type: Part Time, Term Time Only, Fixed Term until 31st March 2026
Location: Ty Penallta/ Schools/ Working hours can be split between home and office depending on specific task requirements.

The post of period dignity practitioner will co-ordinate the delivery of free period products and education in academic settings across Caerphilly LA.
They will be responsible for providing information and co-ordinating training to staff in educational settings ensuring the aims and objectives from the WG Period Dignity grant are met.
The postholder will ensure schools, settings and communities across Caerphilly are supported to achieve measurable and meaningful health and well-being outcomes.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A relevant Level 6 (Degree) qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales. For example Education or Health.
Familiarity with Welsh Government policies and local authority structures.
Experience of working in a health related field or in partnership with a health related field.
Full UK Category B (Cars) driving licence and the use of a motor vehicle insured for business / work purposes to travel throughout the borough to visit schools and attend meetings.
