About the school
We are seeking a School Mental Health Assistant to join a specialist SEND school in Milton Keynes. The school welcomes graduates in Psychology, Criminology, or related fields, particularly those with aspirations toward Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or wider mental health roles.
Role details
If you are enthusiastic, resilient, and motivated to make a positive difference, this could be the ideal opportunity. Previous experience working with children is beneficial, but the school places equal value on your passion, attitude, and commitment to supporting vulnerable learners. Pupils present with a range of needs, including SEMH, autism, and behavioural difficulties. For this reason, the school is looking for individuals who can commit for a minimum of 12 months to provide the consistency and stability their learners rely on.
