We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Bank Senior Care Practitioner to join our team. This flexible role is ideal for someone who wants to work around their existing commitments while still making a meaningful difference to the lives of our residents. As part of our bank team, you will be able to pick up shifts according to availability, including days and weekends.
As a Bank Senior Care Practitioner, your role may involve:
* Undertaking any necessary training
* Supporting our residents with personal care and hygiene, eating, and getting involved with daily activities.
* Providing emotional support and companionship
* Supporting our residents to live an enriched and fulfilled life, focussed on their individual hobbies, preferences and abilities.
* Maintaining high standards within the care home environment
* Senior-level duties to support the Home Manager, which may involve staff supervisions, appraisals, record-keeping, liaising with outside professionals, interviewing etc.
What are we looking for?
* Supervisory or leadership experience within a residential or nursing home
* A positive outlook and warm, caring personality
* Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (or willingness to work towards it)
* Confidence in using technology and maintaining accurate records
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and support colleagues
* Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns based on home needs

*Overtime is paid for working over full time hours. However, overtime enhancement will not feature on your contract of employment and can be withdrawn at any time as managers decision is final. Free meals are given if working over an 8 hour shift and are subject to terms and conditions. Discounts are accessed using our ‘Reward Me’ app. Flexible pay is available via ‘STREAM’.
