We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a supportive business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional looking to take the next step in their career.
You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting business decision-making across the organisation.
Description of the role:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Producing variance analysis and financial commentary for senior management
* Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
* Balance sheet reconciliations
* Supporting month-end and year-end processes
* Identifying trends in expenditure and supporting cost control initiatives
* Supporting operational teams with financial insight and reporting
* Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting where required
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
About you:
* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
* Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Proactive approach with a desire to add value to the business
