This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional with a strong background in property law and local authority work to manage a varied caseload in a flexible, hybrid environment.Key Responsibilities
1. Handle property and contract matters for a local authority.
2. Manage lease renewals, title queries, and land registry applications.
3. Oversee transfer of parts on large developments and auction sales.
4. Advise on statutory residential property matters, including council charges.
5. Provide guidance on localernment law relating to property development.
6. Work collaboratively within the team and take on additional tasks as needed.
Essential Requirements
7. Qualified Solicitor with significant property law experience (not newly qualified).
8. Proven experience in residential andmercial property for local authorities.
9. Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently.
10. Strong understanding of land registry processes and title issues.
11. Flexible and proactive approach to picking up varied work.
12. Excellentmunication and teamwork skills.
