We're seeking a committed and enthusiastic English Tutor to join our Young People's Learning team, where you'll play a key role in shaping and expanding our successful programmes-including Supported Internships. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact while developing your career in a supportive and forward:thinking environment.
What you'll do:
:Deliver engaging and accessible English teaching, including Functional Skills and accredited qualifications, tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners.
:Empower young people aged 16:25 with SEND, using a strength:based approach to help them build confidence and achieve their learning goals.
:Create and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that identify gaps in literacy, numeracy, and digital skills, providing personalised support to close those gaps.
:Foster strong, supportive relationships with learners, offering guidance, coping strategies, and encouragement throughout their learning journey.
:Travel across the county to deliver high:quality English education and training in a variety of settings.
What we're looking for:
:Experience working with vulnerable/SEND learners in an educational or training setting.
:English expertise.
:Strong teaching and digital learning skills.
:A commitment to high expectations and positive outcomes for young people.
:Excellent problem:solving and negotiation abilities.
:Motivation to support learners in a meaningful and impactful way.
