Planned Programme Team Leader
We're looking for a proactive and experienced Planned Programme Team Leader to join our Asset Management team. In this role, you'll lead a team of three surveyors responsible for delivering planned component replacement programmes, maintenance works and major repairs, and take ownership of a small number of key projects ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.
Responsibilities
* Lead a team of surveyors and manage planned component replacement programmes, maintenance works and major repairs.
* Own key projects and deliver them on time, within budget and to a high standard, with budgets up to £10 million.
* Provide technical expertise and work closely with colleagues across Asset Management to resolve complex property maintenance issues.
* Oversee procurement, manage contractors and consultants and ensure statutory and health & safety requirements are met throughout the lifecycle of each project.
* Recruit, support, motivate surveyors, hold regular one‑to‑ones and provide necessary resources.
* Support the wider Surveying Services Team on a reactive basis when required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Solid technical knowledge and hands‑on experience in building surveying, backed by an HNC/HND or CIOB qualification.
* Strong track record of managing contracts, writing specifications and delivering projects within budget.
* Experience in residential repair or improvement projects and procurement of contractors and consultants (bonus).
* Knowledge of building regulations, CDM 2015 requirements and construction‑related legislation.
* Excellent problem‑solving, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internal systems for workload management and reporting.
* Valid driving licence, access to a road‑worthy vehicle and ability to carry out site inspections using PPE, stairs and ladders.
* Basic DBS check required; basic DBS certificate considered satisfactory.
