Job responsibilities Applicants must have experience and an interest in working with young people with autism and attentional difficulties. They should have a good working knowledge of the diagnostic assessment process for autism and ADHD and awareness of differential diagnoses as part of these assessments. Applicants should have experience in conducting a range of standardised assessments, and it would be desirable if this included specialist neurodevelopmental assessments. They should be experienced in being part of (or leading, depending on experience and banding) complex formulations and providing comprehensive feedback to families and other agencies involved in a young persons care. The post holder should have the skills and experience to provide supervision, contribute to service evaluation, and manage the demands of service development and change. The post holders will need to travel to venues across County Durham and Darlington.
