We are seeking a confident, proactive, and experienced Cover Supervisor to join our dedicated team in Heywood. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering pre-set lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring classroom behaviour is managed effectively, and providing continuity of learning in the absence of teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of teachers
* Maintain a positive and safe classroom environment
* Deliver cover work set by subject teachers
* Manage student behaviour in line with school policy
* Provide feedback to teaching staff about student progress
Requirements:
* Prior experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar classroom-based role
* Strong classroom management skills
* Ability to adapt quickly and think on your feet
* A genuine passion for education and student development
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
