Overview

Security. Based within commuting distance of our Leatherhead office. The successful candidate will spearhead the identification and pursuit of new business opportunities, initially focusing on the Microsoft, Cyber Security and associated solutions portfolio, expanding into other solutions areas as progression is made.

Essential attributes include 2 years sales experience, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, and a relentless drive for success. A preference for industry specific sales experience will be preferable. The role demands adaptability and a rapid learning curve, reflecting the dynamic nature of our industry.


Purpose of Job

We are in search of a dynamic and results-oriented individual to assume the position of an ISV Account Manager within our New Business Sales Team. This role requires a professional, preferentially with a background in Sales, including a proven track record in client onboarding and enhancing sales volumes for existing clientele. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency and an ongoing appetite to acquire new clients and possess a keen understanding of the private sector landscape. Skills Required

* Prospecting and Lead Generation: Conduct in-depth market research, identify prospect clients seeking Microsoft and Cyber Security Solutions, and leverage extensive networks and contacts to effectively communicate Bytes' value proposition. Drive lead generation through cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media (LinkedIn). Collaborate with marketing teams to optimise inbound lead generation strategies.
* Client Engagement: Cultivate and build trust-based relationships with prospective clients, conduct needs assessments, uncover pain points, and position Bytes as a strategic partner. Support clients throughout the sales cycle from discovery to deal closure, delivering compelling presentations and demonstrations.
* Solution Selling: Identify client challenges and offer tailored solutions. Collaborate with senior account managers and technical teams to craft innovative proposals that meet client needs and articulate the unique value proposition.
* Sales Negotiation and Closing: Work with senior account managers in negotiations, address concerns and objections, collaborate with legal teams to finalise contracts, and consistently meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
* Pipeline Management: Maintain an organised and updated sales pipeline, track opportunities, provide detailed reports on sales activities and forecasts, and use CRM tools to monitor interactions and optimise efficiency.
* Market Intelligence: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies; provide feedback to the product development team based on client needs and market insights.
* Strong Management of Virtual Team: Foster relationships with specialists and pre‑sales teams to support the sales process and enhance customer value.


Qualifications, Experience & Skills

* Degree level qualification desirable.
* 2+ years experience in an IT Value Added Reseller, Distributor, or Vendor role.
* 2 years successful sales experience with a proven track record of goal completion and KPI achievement.
* Leatherhead based – hybrid work policy (up to 1 day a week working from home after onboarding).
* Proven success in a sales role, delivering and surpassing sales targets.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Results‑oriented focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
* Self‑motivated, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
* Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
