We also have a second setting recently opened in Stevenage. *Why you?* · You will be able to provide professional leadership and management of the nursery and its team · You will be able to successfully manage the day to day running of the nursery and deliver high standards of care and education to all children · You will be comfortable being responsible for keeping clear and accurate records and specifically writing clear objective observations · You have excellent planning, organisation, IT and presentation skills · You are a strong communicator and are able to motivate, manage and work productively with your team · You are able to identify training needs and develop training plans for your team · You will be comfortable recruiting, inducting, supporting, training and conducting appraisals for your team · You are able to work with parents, outside agencies, manage running costs, facilitate inspections by regulatory bodies and implement recommendations *Essentials* · Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification · Designated Safeguarding Lead · Safer Recruitment Training · Paediatric First Aid · Food and Hygiene Level 2 · Designated Safeguarding Lead · Minimum of 2 years recent experience of working in a Nursery/Preschool setting within a Management role · Excellent knowledge of the current Early Years Inspection Framework · Thorough Knowledge of and appreciation for child safeguarding and welfare · Strong understanding of health and safety and practical hygiene issues *Great to haves* · Emergency First Aid at Work · Early Years Leadership and Management · Prevent Duty · FGM · Safeguarding · Paediatric First Aid · SENDco · Self-Regulation If you are passionate about providing high-quality childcare and have the necessary skills and experience, we invite you to apply for the Nursery Manager position.
