EA to CEO & Founder Job Description Marcilly Recruitment’s client, a successful real estate investment firm with a creative edge and relaxed office culture, is looking for an outstanding EA to CEO & Founder, who can also be an acting Chief of Staff with a Senior EA title. They are looking for someone who is commercially astute who has worked as a real right hand at Founder level working across business, private, operations and projects. This is a fast paced, multi-faceted role that requires someone with proven success at providing the highest level of EA to CEO & Founder support. This is a 13-month fixed-term maternity cover with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent role depending on business needs and the success of the EA to CEO & Founder. Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 – could be movement for the perfect immediately available candidate Benefits : Competitive compensation package and benefits; 25 days holiday; subsidised luxury wellness club (employee only pays £50 of £300 membership a month); discretionary bonus - usually pretty generous; Hours: 09:00 – 18:00 Monday to Friday office based with some flexibility required - may have the ability to work from home if needed at times, depending on office requirements Start date: 17th November 2025 This role requires an EA to CEO & Founder with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role. The successful EA will be someone who is confident, dedicated and capable of working in a dynamic environment with a large workload, working efficiently with pace. They will be extremely efficient with standout communication skills. They have more of a relaxed office culture, rather than being too corporate. It is a fun team of around 40 in the London office with a total of 300 spread across their European offices. This role will sit in the admin and operations team of five in London, who all get on well and work collaboratively together. Team fit is really important, so they are looking for a warm, engaging candidate with no ego. EA to CEO & Founder Key Responsibilities: Extensive and complex multi time zone diary management Managing communication on behalf of the CEO – inbox management, drafting emails, calls etc Preparing and coordinating board materials, reports, presentations, and briefing documents Acting as gatekeeper and primary point of contact for the CEO Managing expense reporting, invoicing, budgets, and vendor communications Overseeing private office operations and household staff coordination; liaising with service providers, vendors, and property management Coordinating private travel arrangements (personal) including itineraries, accommodations, and security considerations alongside the Private PA Assisting with personal projects, events and special occasions alongside the Private PA Handling confidential information with utmost discretion whilst maintaining strict privacy protocols Serving as a trusted liaison between the CEO, family office team, external advisors and trusted external partners Representing the CEO with professionalism at meetings, events, and network engagements Ensuring adherence to internal policies, data protection regulations, and privacy requirements for both corporate and private activities EA to CEO & Founder Skills and Requirements: 5 years’ experience as an EA to C-suite, senior executive, or equivalent within a corporate environment and/or private family office setting Demonstrated ability to manage both corporate and private office operations with discretion, confidentiality, and integrity Strong project coordination and multitasking capabilities; ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills High level of judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage and influence across diverse stakeholders Resilient and composed under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced, high-trust environment Flexible approach to work location and hours as required by the CEO and family office Fluency in English, and French is a plus.
