Role Summary
You will be responsible for overseeing daily office operations and will support and lead on a number of administrative, organisational and employee engagement tasks for the office to help deliver operational performance.
The ideal person in this role will be self-driven, organised, resourceful and efficient, and will have the intuition to react with appropriate urgency to emerging situations and be able to complete multiple high-priority tasks efficiently and effectively.
What you’ll be doing
* Act as a resource and connection point for the office and oversee and support office operations to ensure the office is operating smoothly and effectively.
* Develop and roll-out agreed office guidelines and procedures and ensure these are adhered to.
* Play a key role in office layout planning and layout/moves, including desk assignment.
* Work with IT to ensure all office systems are fit for purpose & meet operational requirements.
* Manage office budget and expenses.
* Develop and maintain good relationships with Suppliers.
* Identify process and office management improvements; implement new systems and solutions.
* Identify Commercial Opportunities and Developments at a local level.
* Develop and maintain relationships with local Port Authorities operational & commercial staff.
* Supporting with client visits.
* Help to onboard new joiners to the office and arrange training of staff where required.
* Work closely with senior management and other offices and ensure relevant information is cascaded to appropriate teams as required.
* Support Senior Management team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
* Support other CPS offices with staff cover requirements.
* Ensure accurate and timely production of DA’s.
* Demonstrate an understanding of company Credit Control requirements.
* Meet Month End deadline reporting requirements, financial, HR & HSEQ.
* Additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

* Good local knowledge of Ports & Infrastructure.
