Key Requirements
* Mechanical Engineering degree – Essential
* BTEC HNC/HND in an engineering field as a minimum
* EUSR water hygiene card
* Full UK driving license
Skills and Responsibilities
* Ability to make decisions, demonstrate accountability and integrity
* Active team participation and skill transfer to achieve business objectives
* Troubleshooting and strategic thinking aligned with company vision
* Problem-solving and target-driven approach
* Ability to deliver results under high pressure
* Mechanical design of infrastructure related to water treatment plants, ensuring compliance with client standards
* Producing design deliverables: P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, pipework layouts, schedules, P&E schedules, pipe supports/thrust design, Mechanical GAs and layouts
* Liaising with multidisciplinary designers for complete and concise design packages
* Compiling mechanical specifications and datasheets for procurement
* Reviewing technical submissions
* Presenting technical data to technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Maintaining design input throughout project lifecycle
* Assisting with budget control and ensuring compliance with standards and project timelines
* Performing additional duties as appropriate
