Job Description
Project Manager
Permanent · Remote-First · Competitive Salary
DigX is delivering a large-scale data transformation programme within the Life and Pensions sector. We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to own a critical data migration workstream — end to end.
This isn't a generalist PM role. You'll be accountable for taking complex, multi-source data migrations from early source analysis all the way through rehearsal, cutover, and stabilisation into a consolidated Life and Pensions administration platform.
Life and Pensions experience is essential. We need someone who understands the data structures, regulatory context, and operational realities of this sector — not someone learning on the job.
What You'll Own
* Lead multi-stage data migrations — from source profiling and mapping through transformation, rehearsal, and cutover
* Build and maintain migration run-books, wave plans, cutover schedules, and rollback strategies
* Manage dependencies across platform build, environments, integration, and support teams
* Work with L&P business SMEs to resolve data issues and secure sign-off at each readiness gate
* Coordinate go-live readiness across data, platform, integration, and operational teams
* Track RAID, sequencing, and governance across concurrent migration waves
* Report progress, risks, and decisions clearly to programme leadership — clarity over noise
What You'll Bring
* 3+ years of hands-on Life and Pensions experience — non-negotiable
* Proven track record managing data migration projects end to end within L&P environments
* Deep understanding of the migration lifecycle: profiling, mapping, transformation, reconciliation, rehearsal, cutover, stabilisation
* Strong RAID management, dependency control, and sequencing discipline
* The ability to communicate with confidence across technical teams and senior stakeholders
Why DigX
A lot of PM roles in this space drop you into a workstream and move you on before you see the outcome. At DigX, you own delivery from first analysis through to stabilisation — and you stay to see it land.
You'll work on genuinely complex programmes with FTSE 100 clients, where the stakes are real and your planning directly determines whether the transformation succeeds. This isn't advisory work. We build and deliver, and your name is on the outcome.
The team is collaborative and fast-paced, but we don't believe in looking over your shoulder. You'll be trusted to run your workstream, make calls, and challenge where things aren't right — with the support of experienced engineers and architects when you need it.
We invest in our people for the long term. That means a learning and development budget to keep growing your skills, flexible and async-friendly working as the default, and clear pathways into senior delivery or migration leadership as the programme evolves.
Remote-first, with occasional client travel where it genuinely adds value.
