Job description
You will manage all statutory compliance across our 490 retail branch estate, residential flats, and commercial offices. This includes ensuring records are up-to-date, accessible, and properly processed. You will lead the maintenance team, handle reactive property issues, and work closely with the health & safety team.
The ideal candidate will be professional, enthusiastic, and motivated. You should be able to take ownership of your workload and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring statutory compliance is maintained and records are accessible to all
2. Managing property-related contracts such as intruder alarms, air conditioning, and portable appliance testing
3. Managing the maintenance team to meet performance expectations
4. Implementing and maintaining SLAs
5. Collaborating with the Health & Safety team
6. Handling small works issues
7. Reviewing and authorizing invoices
Required competencies:
* Proven experience in property management
* Excellent organizational and administrative skills
* Team management experience
* Understanding of commercial leases
* Commitment to providing excellent customer service
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to review issues and solve problems efficiently
* Proficiency in Word and Excel
* Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to liaise effectively at all levels
* NEBOSH qualification is desirable
