Key Responsibilities of the Senior Controls Engineer:
* To design, plan and develop PLC control solutions
* Assist in the development of OT layer cyber security solutions.
* Produce technical documentation, complete specification, costings and time plan for each assigned project
* Write the FDS for projects as required and co‑ordinate with colleagues within Engineering and within Systems to ensure alignment of functionality and interfaces.
* Develop PLC software and HMI code for projects and to commission the software on site
* Provide support to other departments, participate in design planning
Qualifications & Experience needed for the Senior Controls Engineer:
* Expert in Siemens TIA Portal, Simatic Manager, Siemens TIA Safety
* Experience of VFD control, Safety hardware and Barcode readers, Allen Bradley PLC programming
* Knowledge of IEC 61131
* Degree, HND or HNC in Engineering and competent in Windows based systems
