Position Summary

Our Manager-In-Training (MIT) program offers a comprehensive, approximately sixteen-week interactive training experience, combining hands-on and computer-based learning. The program covers:

* General Training & Comprehension: Perform and teach various housekeeping and laundry tasks, operate industrial cleaning equipment.
* Leadership Development: Assist in staff training, quality control, and compliance with policies and procedures.
* Policies & Procedures: Ensure quality service, safety, and compliance with standards.
* Reporting: Maintain records of income, expenses, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
* Training & Quality Control: Responsible for staff training and quality assessments.
* Leadership Responsibilities: Learn payroll, staffing, coaching, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
* Communication: Effectively relay directives from management to staff.
* Safety: Use protective gear, handle cleaning solutions safely, and follow infection control procedures.
* Punctuality: Maintain consistent attendance and respond promptly to communication systems.
* Customer Experience: Represent HCSG professionally, ensuring courteous and positive interactions.
* Experience: Maintain tactful and positive interactions with staff and guests.

Qualifications

* Positive attitude, ability to follow instructions, perform routine tasks.
* Leadership skills post-training, with safety and injury prevention focus.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
* Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
* Punctuality and reliability.
* Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
* Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds, and perform physical tasks.
* Must reside in the service area.
