About the Role
This role involves performing daily, weekly, and monthly activities to ensure the Warehouse Department meets KPI targets related to cost, quality, service, and behaviors, following established procedures.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract position.
Key Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with all statutory and legal requirements.
2. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies.
3. Follow packaging and food hygiene regulations, such as HACCP standards.
4. Meet product and process quality standards.
5. Maintain housekeeping, cleaning, and 5S standards.
6. Perform basic asset care duties, applicable to all operators.
7. Operate warehouse equipment to deliver quality finished goods on time and within budget.
8. Participate in improvement activities to achieve KPI targets, including Short Interval Control (SIC).
9. Engage in training to develop new skills and tasks, supporting skill upgradation.
10. Complete any warehouse-related tasks assigned by the First Line Manager.
11. Attend meetings and briefings as required.
12. Maintain accurate documentation and transaction records to monitor and improve department performance.
13. Meet internal customer requirements efficiently.
14. Understand and apply food safety requirements relevant to the role.
15. Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring completeness, undamaged stock, and compliance with procedures.
Candidate Profile
1. Standard Grades in English & Mathematics or equivalent.
2. Packaging or engineering qualifications are advantageous.
3. All necessary operational training will be provided.
4. Valid FLT license with Keg Clamp experience is a plus.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
6. Experience in picking is desirable.
