The Role

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Sponsorship Sales Director to lead high-value partnership sales across our portfolio of travel, transport and destination clients.

This is a senior, revenue-generating role responsible for originating, structuring and closing sponsorship and brand partnership deals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in selling sponsorships, brand partnerships and/or advertising and media. Experience working within - or selling into - travel and transport (particularly airports or transit networks), visitor destinations, or other large-scale public environments would be advantageous.

You will combine strategic thinking with hands-on sales leadership, operating confidently at C-suite level with brands, agencies and rights holders, and leading complex commercial negotiations through to completion.


Key Responsibilities

* Lead the sales strategy and revenue generation across key client accounts.
* Identify, develop and close high-value sponsorship and media partnerships.
* Build and maintain senior relationships with brands, media agencies and marketing decision-makers.
* Develop commercially compelling partnership propositions in collaboration with our strategy, insight, and creative teams.
* Structure and negotiate multi-year, multi-asset commercial agreements.
* Own pipeline management and revenue forecasting.
* Contribute to new business development and agency growth strategy.
* Represent PHAR at industry events and build market visibility.


About You

You are a proven commercial operator with a strong track record in sponsorship, media or advertising sales. You are entrepreneurial, credible at senior level, and motivated by closing significant deals.

You likely have:

* 8+ years’ experience in sponsorship, media or advertising sales.
* A demonstrable track record of generating substantial annual revenues.
* Existing relationships with brands and/or media agencies.
* Preferably experience selling within airports, transit networks, transport media, attractions or destination environments.
* Confidence negotiating commercial agreements.
* Strong commercial instinct and understanding of valuation.
* The ability to operate independently while contributing strategically to agency growth.
