Occupational Therapist required at Orchards Manor School, Norfolk, PE34 3HT. Part-time (up to 3 days) or full-time considered. Permanent contract (term time only or flexibility around full-time can be discussed).
Salary
Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience). Basic grade OT offers from £33,000+, Specialist from £39,500+, & Highly Specialist from £48,000+*

Role and responsibilities
* Join our in-house clinical team at Orchards Manor School to deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence, or SEMH needs.
* Hold an occupational therapy caseload with supervision from a designated clinical supervisor and site lead.
* Contribute to staff training and consultation as required.
* Work collaboratively with education teams within OFG’s Occupational Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice in an educational setting.
* Support development of apprentices, students, and therapy assistants and participate in multidisciplinary response.
* Engage in service improvement and, where appropriate, research or CPD activities.
Essential criteria
* Recognised Occupational Therapy degree
* HCPC registered and RCOT member
* Minimum 3 years of experience
* Experience in LD, SEMH, neurodivergence; multi-disciplinary settings; working with families and carers
* Strong clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Understanding of behaviour, communication, physical and sensory needs, and developmentally appropriate interventions
* Knowledge of legislation and implications for clinical practice
* Experience with assessment tools, intervention programmes, and treatment plan formulation
* Willingness to travel on company business and hold a full driving licence
* Flexible, creative problem solver able to work within a multidisciplinary team and supervise staff/students
Desirable
* Postgraduate study in Sensory Integration and/or developmental trauma and/or sensory attachment
