Connekt Group Limited is a UK based electric vehicle charging infrastructure business delivering the design, installation, operation and optimisation of public and Commercial EV charging solutions across the UK. The business operates across the full EV value chain, combining contracted installation revenues with a growing base of recurring, infrastructure-backed income. Headquartered in East Kilbride, Connekt are Scotland's fastest growing EV Charge Point Operator.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Prepare and issue customer invoices in line with commercial terms.
* Maintain the AR ledger, ensuring all receipts are allocated accurately.
* Monitor aged debt and manage credit control by following up overdue payments.
* Work with sales and operations teams to resolve billing queries.
* Assist with forecasting customer collections and cash inflows.
Accounts Payable (AP)
* Process supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding and approvals.
* Maintain the AP ledger and prepare weekly payment runs.
* Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Track purchase orders and match against invoices.
General FinOps & Financial Administration
* Assist with cash flow reporting and monthly cash and bank reconciliations.
* Help manage company expenses, credit cards, and mileage claims.
* Maintain financial records in line with audit requirements.
* Support improvements to processes, controls, and automation across Finance.
* Ad hoc tasks to support the Finance & Operations team.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Prior experience in an accounts assistant, finance admin, or AP/AR role.
* Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills (lookups, pivot tables desirable).
* Excellent accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.
* Good communication skills and confidence working with suppliers/customers.
* Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-growing environment.
Desirable:
* Experience with Xero or similar cloud accounting software.
* Understanding of basic accounting principles (debit/credit, journals).
* Exposure to financial operations in a scale-up, SaaS, or infrastructure business.
* Studying AAT or similar qualification (optional).
