* Key Responsibilities
o Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
o Identify and apply appropriate welding methods (MIG, TIG, etc.).
o Receive work orders, organize and verify materials for compliance with specifications.
o Plan job task sequence efficiently.
o Operate shop equipment safely, including:
o Saws, shears, cranes, hi-lo, grinders, hammers, and tape measures
* Operate burning and welding equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
* Set up welding equipment with proper gas type, flow, wire speed, and amperage.
* Wear and maintain all required PPE, including:
* Gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, ear protection, fire-resistant clothing, welding hood, and respirator (as needed)
* Use welding lens shade appropriate for job tasks as per OSHA 1910.133.
* Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
* Demonstrate regular, reliable attendance.
Qualifications
Education:
o High school diploma or equivalent ()
Experience:
o Minimum 2 years of welding experience (MIG )
Schedule
Day Shift:
o Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
o Optional extended shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (workload dependent)
o Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed)
