Dental Nurse
Busy NHS Dental Practice
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Dental Nurse to join our friendly team in a busy NHS dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified dental nurse who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care.
About the Role
You will work chairside supporting our clinicians across a range of NHS treatments, ensuring patients feel comfortable and well cared for. The role requires strong organisational skills, teamwork, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing chairside assistance to dentists and hygienists
* Preparing and sterilising instruments in line with cross-infection protocols
* Maintaining a clean and safe clinical environment
* Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
* Supporting patients before, during, and after treatment
* Ensuring compliance with CQC, HTM 01-05, and NHS regulations
Requirements
* Qualified Dental Nurse (NEBDN or equivalent)
* GDC registered (or in the process of registering)
* Knowledge of NHS dentistry and regulations
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Ability to work well within a team
* Experience with dental software systems (e.g., SOE/Exact) desirable
