Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias)
Location: Preston
Salary: £43,000
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Double Days)
A great opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Technician (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Preston. The site is currently undergoing a significant period of investment and transformation, with major improvements being made to enhance production efficiency, modernise equipment, and support long-term growth.

The Role:
* Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across manufacturing and production equipment
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults quickly to minimise downtime
* Support mechanical maintenance activities when required
* Perform fault finding on control systems, motors, drives, sensors, and other electrical components
* Assist with equipment upgrades and site improvement projects
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with site health & safety procedures
* Work closely with production teams to maintain high levels of equipment reliability and efficiency
Requirements:
* Electrical bias with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
* Strong fault finding and troubleshooting skills
* Experience working with motors, drives, sensors, and control systems
* Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
* Relevant electrical engineering qualification (apprenticeship or equivalent preferred)
