An opportunity has arisen for a skilled Maintenance Manager to join a forward-thinking engineering team at a market leading manufacturing company. You will play a key role in ensuring operational reliability, driving efficiency, and leading continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

The Role:

* Support the Engineering Manager in daily operations and deputise in their absence.
* Manage and control maintenance budgets effectively.
* Oversee and allocate electrical and mechanical workloads to ensure smooth department operations.
* Plan and coordinate routine and major maintenance shutdowns.
* Ensure maintenance resources are prioritised to meet operational requirements.
* Drive performance improvements in Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and work order completion rates.
* Lead safety and mini-improvement projects during planned plant stoppages.
* Maintain a strong focus on safety and compliance, working towards a zero-harm environment.
* Provide technical direction, mentorship, and leadership to the engineering team.

About You:

1. Apprentice-trained in a relevant trade with an engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
