Job Description
3. Manage day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with organisational policies.
4. Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
5. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and budget reports.
6. Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies promptly.
7. Support the implementation and monitoring of financial controls and procedures.
8. Collaborate with the Accounting & Finance department to ensure smooth financial operations.
9. Respond to financial queries from internal teams and external stakeholders.
10. Provide administrative support for audits and other financial reviews.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Officer should have:
11. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices.
12. Experience working within the not-for-profit sector is desirable.
13. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
14. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
15. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
16. Strong communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
