Your Role as a Functional Specialist
As a Functional Specialist, you will provide unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government's disability allowance (PIP), ensuring a personalized, inclusive, and empathetic service for service users. Your responsibilities include managing caseloads from end to end, delivering face-to-face and virtual assessments, conducting telephone assessments, initial review calls, and preparing paper-based reports (PBR).

* Basic salary of £38,500 - £41,500* + 5% retention bonus + rising to 10% for quality & retention*

Requirements
* Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic
* Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience
* Valid registration with NMC or HCPC without restrictions
* Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
