Our client are a leading supplier of construction materials providing roofing supplies to a mixture of contractors, house builders, housing associations, and end users. An exciting opportunity has arisen in their branch network for a Roofing Merchant Manager to join their busy branch. This is a standalone role which will see you managing all aspects of the Roofing Supplies division. Your day will be varied and will involve but is not limited to: - Serving customers on the trade counter - Dealing with sales and quotations over the phone and via email - Working out in the warehouse/yard to ensure stock is adequate - Ensuring deliveries are ready to go out to customers - Dealing with Goods In for Roofing materials to make sure they are correct and stored correctly Our client are looking for an experienced Roofing Merchant professional who has a strong knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing and who is happy to get involved in all aspects of running the Roofing Supplies businses.
