Overview
We\u2019re on a mission to drive the global renewable energy revolution. We\u2019re looking for engineers with a track record of safety and customer excellence. You\u2019ll represent our brands in customers\u2019 homes, so you\u2019ll need to be as comfortable talking to the customer as you are about the installation itself.
What you\u2019ll do
* Fit meters; show customers how their meter and in-home display work; how it can help them save energy and answer questions about the green energy revolution we are leading.

As part of the Octopus Energy Services team, you\u2019ll have access to the best resources you need to deliver top-class service. You\u2019ll be supported by an office team with the same performance goals, and you\u2019ll have the backing of Octopus Energy\u2019s tech power to evolve processes and reduce admin time.
What you\u2019ll need
* Gas Safe CCN1/MET1 or CMA1/MET1 (or equivalent)
* Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
* We will provide full training to attain a MOCoPA qualification

* For every asset installed beyond your sixth, you\u2019ll earn an additional £15
Call-out and overtime
* You will be on a rotating call-out schedule once every five weeks; retainer £250. If called out, you will be paid door-to-door.
Next steps
* If eligible, you\u2019ll be invited to our in-person recruitment event, Octopalooza, to demonstrate your skills.
* You\u2019ll complete a practical trade test and have an interview with an Area Manager; you\u2019ll have a chance to ask questions and learn about life as a Smart Meter Engineer with Octopus.
