Trust Manager/Accountant

Our well-established client is seeking a qualified Trust Manager/Accountant, based at their Worthing office.
Roles and Responsibilities:
You will advise a range of clients specialising in trust advice and administration, including:
1. Tax planning advice regarding all aspects of trusts.
2. Inheritance tax calculations.
3. Completion of trustees' annual tax returns, delivery to HM Revenue and Customs, and arranging payments of tax by statutory deadlines.
4. FATCA/CRS/Trust Register reporting.
5. Support to the wider private client team involved in will drafting, estate planning, complex tax planning, trusts and estate administration, and preparation of lasting powers of attorney.
6. Corresponding effectively with trustees and beneficiaries regarding distributions of income and capital.
7. Liaising with investment managers concerning performance, valuations, statements, and advice.
8. Assisting in devising 'family office' services, including administrative matters and collation of information for report preparation.
You will be an experienced Trust Accountant or Manager with previous experience in a comparable role within a law or accountancy firm.
Requirements for the Role:
* Minimum of 3 A Levels
* Good academic background
* Strong numeracy and IT skills
* Solid experience in preparing trust accounts
* STEP, CIOT, or AAT qualification
* LEAP knowledge
* IRIS proficiency
* Excellent written, clear, and concise English
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Accounting qualification
