Your Role
and What You'll Be Doing
As our Content Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that engages and grows our audience. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can plan, organise and produce high-quality content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and business objectives, whilst leading a small team of Content Executives.
What You’ll Be Doing
1. Design and execute a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with business objectives and engages key audiences
2. Lead the development of high-quality content across various formats, including social media posts, videos, photography, articles, blog posts, and other digital assets
3. Generate compelling content themes and campaign ideas for distribution across the company’s website and social media platforms
4. Oversee the creation of editorial content, ensuring it meets brand standards and maintains a consistent tone of voice
5. Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, tone, and style. Provide editing and proofreading support as needed
6. Build and maintain a detailed content calendar to ensure timely, consistent, and strategic content delivery
7. Manage workflows and task distribution among internal and external designers and producers, including file and process management
8. Drive audience engagement and website traffic through impactful content initiatives tailored to target demographics
9. Supervise and mentor the Content Specialist, fostering professional development and ensuring high performance
10. Track and analyse content performance metrics to refine strategies and enhance engagement.
11. Partner with marketing, design, and campaign teams to ensure cohesive messaging and brand alignment across all channels
12. Provide regular updates to the Head of Brand and External Communications on content strategy progress and performance outcomes
About You
13. Extensive experience in content creation and strategy, including previous experience in a managerial or supervisory role
14. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading abilities
15. Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and workflow planning tools
16. Solid understanding of SEO best practices and associated tools
17. Strong organisational and project management capabilities
18. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate effectively across teams
19. Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
20. Ideally you will have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
21. An understanding of the legal or professional services market would be desirable
