Lead Heat Pump Engineer - Installation – Overview
We are currently working with a large Renewable Energy company who are seeking an experienced Lead Heat Pump Engineer to cover Installation works on private domestic properties in the local area. The company have been established for over 20 years and are one of the largest renewable energy companies in the UK. This is a senior, hands-on position responsible for delivering high quality air source heat pump installations while overseeing and managing engineers and subcontractors on site.
This role is ideal for a technically skilled engineer with leadership experience and a passion for renewable heating. You will primarily work locally, covering nearby properties, and install a range of manufacturer heat pumps, including Valliant and others.
Requirements

Core Heating/Plumbing Qualification: A minimum of NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing and Domestic Heating

ASHP Specific Qualification: Level 3

Water Regulations

Unvented Hot Water: G3
*
MCS Certification (for business)

Gas Qualifications (Desirable)

F-Gas Certification (Optional)

Responsibilities
*
Take ownership of installations from start to finish.
*
Lead, supervise, and coordinate on-site engineers and subcontractors.
*
Ensure excellent workmanship and compliance with safe working practices.
*
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation.
*
Maintain accurate records of site work, materials, and progress.
