Job Title: KS1 Teacher – Maternity Cover – September Start
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for an amazing opportunity in a supportive school? A welcoming primary school is seeking an experienced Teacher to provide maternity cover from September 2025 to April 2026, with the potential to be extended.
This role requires a teacher with strong behaviour management skills who can create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. With several pupils requiring additional emotional support, the successful candidate must be empathetic and patient, ensuring all children feel valued and supported in their learning. To ensure a smooth transition, the school is looking for someone available to start as soon as possible for a handover period before the maternity leave begins. You will have allocated PPA time with the year group partner and will be expected to attend staff meetings.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Teaching a KS1 class, ensuring all pupils make progress.
2. Creating a supportive and engaging learning environment.
3. Managing behaviour effectively, using a nurturing approach.
4. Working collaboratively with your year group partner during PPA time.
5. Attending staff meetings and contributing to the wider school community.
