Position: Warehouse Team Leader
Location: Melton Mowbray (LE14)
Hours: Monday to Friday 07:30 to 16:00 (40 hours per week)
Salary: £30k per annum + overtime
Contract Type: Permanent
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Melton Mowbray. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage both their own workload and efficiency of the warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing day-to-day warehouse operations, including picking on average anything between 80 to 100 items per day
Planning and organising your own workload while overseeing team performance during busy periods
Maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and cleanliness in the warehouse
Ensuring all operational requirements are met in line with business needs
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Proven experience in a warehouse team leader
The ability to use their own initiative and work independently
Strong organisational skills and the ability to plan ahead
A proactive mind set, capable of driving team performance and supporting continuous improvement
A self-sufficient approach with a clear focus on achieving targets and operational goals
