Working for a European non-profit organisation specialising in the medical industry, you will join a small but well-established finance team supporting the day-to-day running of the organisation’s accounts function. You will be responsible for processing all transactional finance data accurately and on time, including sales and purchase ledger entries, bank reconciliations, expenses and credit control, while supporting reporting, audits and other finance-related projects. This role will be offered on a hybrid basis with 2 days in their Windsor office and 3 remote working days. Salary £28,000 – £30,000 depending on experience. Duties: * Raise sales invoices and ensure VAT compliance * Manage credit control and send monthly statements to customers * Maintain accurate customer and supplier records * Prepare weekly debtors reports * Code and post authorised purchase invoices * Process weekly payment runs * Post and reconcile expense claims * Daily and month-end bank reconciliations * Manage petty cash and reconcile spending * Reconcile company credit cards and manage cardholder documentation * Support with VAT returns, audit preparation and finance system improvements * Assist the Finance Director and Management Accountant with ongoing finance projects Skills and Experience Required: * Previous experience in a finance or accounts role * Understanding of basic bookkeeping (including double-entry) * Strong numerical and analytical skills * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy * Proficient in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of NetSuite is an advantage * Organised and able to manage multiple priorities * Strong written and verbal communication skills * AAT qualified or currently studying * Proactive and willing to learn
