What You'll Do
You’re a curious creative, digital native, and aspiring design disruptor. You’ve got a solid foundation, a hunger to learn, and a keen eye for what makes digital content shine. You love what you do, and want to keep doing it - crafting standout social content, slick internal campaigns, and beginning your journey into the world of UX and UI design.
You bring energy, fresh ideas, and a willingness to get stuck in. You might not know it all (yet), but you’re eager to grow. You’re already dabbling in design tools like Figma, XD or Sketch, and you’re looking for a team that will challenge and champion you in equal measure.
As a Junior Digital Designer at Journey, you’ll work closely with senior creatives, strategists and developers to create engaging digital experiences - from scroll-stopping social ads to marketing assets and, increasingly, beautiful, user-first websites.
What You'll Bring

You’ll help bring our digital design work to life across multiple channels and touchpoints, learning on the job and levelling up every step of the way.
* Design standout digital content for social, email, and internal marketing.
* Support the design team on website projects, gaining exposure to UX and UI.
* Learn how to build out wireframes, prototypes, and design systems.
* Bring creative concepts to life with motion and interaction where relevant.
* Collaborate with the wider creative and strategy teams to shape ideas and campaigns.
* Present your work and communicate your thinking clearly and confidently.
* Work closely with developers to understand how your designs translate in build.
* Apply feedback with a positive mindset and a focus on constant improvement.
* Always look for ways to elevate your work and push boundaries.

You don’t need years of experience, just the right attitude, solid foundations, and a passion to keep getting better.
* Around 1 year of experience in a digital design role (or relevant freelance/work placements).
* A portfolio of digital work showing strong design fundamentals and creative flair.
* Confidence with Adobe Creative Suite, with some knowledge of Figma, XD or Sketch.
* Interest in UX and UI - even better if you’ve dabbled with wireframes or prototyping.
* Some experience designing for social media, email or online campaigns.
* A keen eye for detail, and pride in producing high-quality work.
* Curiosity, ambition, and a love of learning (and sharing) new ideas.
* A collaborative mindset - you’re a team player who’s up for pitching in.
* Ability to manage your time, take on feedback, and keep pushing your work forward
