About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategically minded individual to join our expanding Accountancy and Advisory team. We are open to recruiting this role at Partner or Director level, so are keen to hear from ambitious candidates ready for that challenge and who are looking to make a positive impact within a rapidly expanding firm.
Working closely with the head of this service line and our Senior Management Team (SMT), you will play a significant role in developing our Business Advisory and Accountancy service line across our offices.
Joining as a senior member of a large team, you will be expected to promote best practices to deliver proactive, relationship-led advisory services to our corporate clients. You will need to be highly commercial in your approach and able to demonstrate a proven track record of developing new business opportunities through leveraging your network.
Working closely with our Partners, you will contribute to the growth of our client base and enhance overall client service delivery and experience.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Building strong relationships with owner-managed business clients and ensuring the delivery of a trusted advisor service
* Monitoring developments in the accounting marketplace to maintain competitiveness and efficiency
* Playing a pivotal role in Business Development activities and building/retaining a network of local contacts to aid growth
* Collaborating with our SMT to develop and grow our team, including recruiting, coaching, and succession planning
* Working with our head of service line and Partners to formulate and implement our firmwide accounting and advisory services strategy
About You
To be considered, you should have:
* ACA/ACCA qualification (or equivalent) with experience in a business services environment
* A strong business developer with a keen interest in building contacts within the local business community
* Good knowledge of market developments, especially regarding cloud-based systems and outsourcing opportunities
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing at all levels
* Experience in people management, with a passion for building and developing teams
* A desire to contribute to the success of Bishop Fleming
