A day in the life of a Kitchen Porter would include Aiding the chefs and kitchen team within food preparation duties and setting up the kitchen ahead of service Adhering to the highest standards of Health & Safety and Food Safety in both the handling and service of products and throughout the working environment Supporting with deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly and safely Working in the pot-wash area in a timely manner to support with the operational requirements Working as part of a team to ensure the operation runs smoothly Desirable Qualities Previous Food and Beverage or Hospitality experience is required Be able to remain calm under pressure and complete tasks in a timely manner Be an effective communicator with both peers and the management team Be adaptive and flexible to support with business requirements Be approachable at all times, with a positive can-do attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to work as part of a team About Aramark At Aramark UK, we are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where everyone is valued and empowered to thrive.
