Your Role
To drive both our growth and continued delivery success, we need a Vice President to help us grow our Procurement Transformation capability, including developing a pipeline of work, leading delivery programmes, honing our offerings and capabilities, and developing our talent.
Overview of Role
* Business Development: Engaging at C‑Suite level with clients and potential clients, developing relationships with senior members of our client organisations, presenting complex solutions in a logical, structured and compelling manner. Using a combination of the organisation’s pre‑existing relationships, company relationships and your own network to generate personal sales of £4 million per annum, showing strong understanding of commercial levers and processes.
* Thought Leadership and Proposition Development: Acting as an authority and thought leader in process excellence in one or more of our target sectors, with an ability to understand, design and improve business processes and operations. Developing timely and relevant propositions in Procurement Transformation covering business and technology.
* Talent Development: Leading development of Procurement capabilities and contributing to the effective development of Capgemini’s Intelligent Industry capability.
* Project Delivery: Leading large teams and ensuring effective delivery and timely completion of projects and programmes in alignment with commercial goals, designing and delivering process improvement initiatives across the end‑to‑end value chain.
* Team Leadership: Leading the growth of our Procurement Transformation capability and contributing to the leadership and growth of the Intelligent Industry capability unit.

Your Profile
We are looking for a leader with a strong consulting track record in selling and delivering Procurement Transformation programmes across multiple industry sectors. You will help our clients identify and deliver opportunities to digitise and optimise Procurement functions. You will have experience of the procurement issues faced in multiple industry sectors across the end‑to‑end procurement value chain (source to contract, purchase to pay and contract management). In particular, you will bring insights and knowledge of procurement transformation to enhance our client offerings, to enable effective delivery, coaching of the client and development of consulting teams. You will have deep experience of the transformation programme lifecycle from strategy to implementation. You will be able to demonstrate an active and well‑informed knowledge of the procurement function and have an opinion on key trends having worked in a major consultancy or strategy organisation.
Key knowledge and experience
* Experience of procurement operations and / or transformation in multiple industry sectors and robust knowledge of the key challenges and opportunities in technology‑enabled Procurement Transformation.
* Experience of working within a major consultancy or strategy organisation and engaging with clients at C‑suite level to drive business value.
* Experience in leading and building high‑performing teams in a professional services context.
* A demonstrable network in Tier 1 and key Tier 2 firms across industry sectors.
* A track record of selling and delivering major transformation programmes defined either through their monetary value or the major impact it has had on the client’s business.
* A digital mindset and an interest in innovation to enable added value.
