We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated History Teacher to join a thriving humanities department at a supportive and inclusive secondary school. The successful candidate will have a deep subject knowledge, strong classroom presence, and a commitment to inspiring young minds. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a History Teacher:
* Teach History across KS3 and KS4.
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with national curriculum expectations.
* Foster critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning.
* Assess, monitor and support student progress and attainment.
* Contribute to the wider life of the school, including enrichment activities and trips.
Ideal History Teacher:
* Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* Has a degree in History or a closely related subject.
* Experience teaching History at KS3 and KS4 (A-Level experience desirable).
* High expectations of all students with a strong focus on achievement and progress.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills as a History Teacher.
