Job Title: SEND Teacher (EYFS - Year 2)

Salary: M3 - UPS (dependent on experience)

A welcoming and inclusive mainstream primary school in Preston is seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a full-time role within the school's specialist provision, supporting pupils from EYFS to Year 2 who present with a range of additional needs, with a significant focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The successful candidate will lead tailored teaching and interventions, ensuring all learners are supported, challenged, and celebrated.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver and assess high-quality, individualised teaching for pupils with SEND, primarily ASD.
* Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing classroom environment that promotes engagement and learning.
* Work closely with support staff, external agencies, and families to ensure consistent and effective provision.
* Contribute to EHCP reviews and maintain detailed records of progress and support strategies.
* Foster positive relationships and encourage independence, communication, and social development.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Experience teaching in a primary setting, ideally across EYFS to KS1.
* A strong background in supporting pupils with SEND, particularly those with ASD.
* Excellent knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies and early childhood development.
* A nurturing, flexible approach and the ability to work as part of a collaborative, supportive team.
