Here at Whitbread, we are looking for a hands‑on and experienced Cloud Engineer – DevOps (AWS & Azure) to join our platform team, focused on building and managing scalable, secure, and automated infrastructure across a multi‑cloud environment.
Salary: £80,000 depending on experience
Contract Type: Full time, Permanent
Location: Holborn, London (Hybrid of 3 days per week in office)

What you’ll be doing
* Design, build and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS and Azure using infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Bicep).
* Ensure infrastructure aligns with the Well‑Architected Framework (AWS & Azure), incorporating best practices for reliability, security, cost‑efficiency and performance.
* Operate and manage Kubernetes clusters (EKS, AKS), including upgrades, configuration, networking and security.
* Host and maintain internal developer tooling and shared services within Kubernetes or cloud‑native environments.
What you’ll need
* Strong hands‑on experience with AWS and Azure cloud services, infrastructure and networking.
* Knowledge of and experience applying the AWS and Azure Well‑Architected Framework in real‑world infrastructure design.
* Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, Helm).
* Strong communication skills to liaise with various levels of stakeholders.
