Job Description
We are looking for Control Systems Engineer to join a European Machine Systems group responsible for the development of machine control systems across all machines designed in Europe. You will play a key role in shaping and delivering modern control system technologies, working on projects that move from early definition through to production.

Key Responsibilities:
* Define and develop control system architectures, including I/O allocation, controller layouts, and supporting electrical schematics.
* Work with wider engineering teams to establish interface requirements between electronic controllers, sensors, and machine subsystems.
* Contribute to risk assessments and design reviews, including FMEA activities, functional safety considerations, and compliance checks.
* Plan and carry out validation work to confirm system performance and readiness for release.
* Support development builds and production introduction by investigating faults, identifying root causes, and driving practical solutions.
Qualifications
Required Skills:
* Solid experience in developing and delivering electronic control systems and software within complex products or machinery.
* Good working knowledge of CAN-based networks and Ethernet communication in a control systems environment.
* Experience using calibration and analysis tools such as CANape, CANalyzer, or CANoe.
Required Qualifications:
* A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
Desirable Skills:
* Experience supporting products through multiple development stages, from concept to production.
* Comfortable working in cross-functional teams across systems, software, and manufacturing.
