A leading biopharmaceutical company is looking for a motivated and collaborative Senior Scientist to join its Preclinical Research team. This is an opportunity to play a key role in advancing translational in vitro models, including organoids, organ-on-chip systems, and cutting-edge microphysiological platforms. You’ll contribute across a diverse pipeline of discovery and development programmes, helping to accelerate therapeutic candidates through preclinical evaluation. Experience in building disease-relevant in vitro models, particularly within autoimmune or inflammatory disease areas, would be highly valuable. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop and optimise organoid-based disease models aligned to immunology and inflammation research e.g. liver, lung, gut * Develop and execute in vitro assays using advanced single- and multi-organ-on-chip platforms * Perform and interpret a range of analytical techniques, including FACS, MSD, ELISA and qPCR * Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges across assay development and model systems * Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data to project timelines * Prepare protocols, SOPs and technical documentation in line with internal standards * Contribute to scientific reports and internal communications * Present data clearly and effectively in team and project meetings Qualifications & Experience * Relevant PhD ...
