Location: Castleford (Allerton Bywater Network Centre, Letchmire Road, WF10 2DB)

Job Type: Temporary (Maternity Cover) – Potential to become permanent

Salary: £26,500 – £28,000 per year (depending on experience)

Reports to: Finance Manager

The Role

We're looking for a reliable, organised, Customer Payment & Complaints Co-Ordinator to join us on a maternity cover contract, with the potential for a permanent role. This role is primarily focused on payment collection and complaint handling alongside general administrative support in the day-to-day running of our finance department.

You'll manage customer payment communications, keeping financial records up to date, and playing a vital role in reporting and monitoring the company's debt position. In this role you would also deal with coordinating and closing customer complaints. This is a full time, office based role.

Key Responsibilities

* Contact customers by phone and email to follow up on outstanding payments.
* Issue invoices, reminders, payment confirmations, and finance paperwork.
* Circulate daily debtors reports and monitor outstanding balances.
* Maintain accurate records using our CRM and financial systems.
* Liaise with lenders and finance providers regarding customer agreements.
* Help customers understand payment terms and resolve any queries.
* Resolve customer complaints.
* Escalate overdue or complex issues to the Finance Manager.
* Support general admin and team duties as required.

What We're Looking For

* Experience in credit control, collections, finance administration and complaint handling.
* Confident phone manner and clear written communication.
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
* Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, email, and CRM/finance systems.
* Ability to handle sensitive financial matters professionally.
* Experience working in a regulated or finance-based environment is a bonus.
