We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a growing retail business based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented finance professional to become part of a fast-paced and supportive finance team.
Job Description
3. Processing high volumes of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
4. Matching, batching and coding invoices
5. Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
6. Preparing payment runs in line with company procedures
7. Handling supplier queries via phone and email
8. Maintaining accurate purchase ledger records
9. Assisting with month-end processes and reporting requirements
10. Supporting the finance team with ad hoc administrative duties
The Successful Applicant
11. Previous experience working within a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
12. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
13. Good communication skills and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and colleagues
14. Experience using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
15. The ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
16. A proactive and positive approach to work
