We are looking for a skilled and motivated Estates Supervisor / Team Leader with a completed apprenticeship in either a mechanical or electrical trade to join our Estates & Facilities team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and supervise estates operatives in delivering safe and efficient maintenance services.
2. Understand and manage the distribution of building systems, including:
Mechanical, Water, Electrical, and Ventilation SystemsMedical Gas SystemsOther Engineering Services
3. Carry out capital and installation work as directed by the Estates Officer or management team.
4. Ensure full compliance with permit to work procedures and health & safety protocols.
5. Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) inspections and commissioning tests in line with Harrogate Integrated Facilities Ltd policies.
6. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks to demonstrate compliance.
7. Prepare plant equipment for insurance inspections under the Pressure Systems Regulations.
8. Follow engineering drawings, specifications, and PPM schedules.
9. Operate all necessary tools and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and best practices.
Requirements:
10. Recognised apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical trade.
11. Strong understanding of engineering systems within buildings.
12. Experience in supervising or leading a maintenance team.
13. Knowledge of compliance standards and relevant regulations (ACoP, PSSR).
14. Good communication and organisational skills.
