We are looking for a skilled hair stylist to join our team,to provide a hair-cutting service to residents which reflects the cultural needs of the population and is in accordance with contractual, safety and security standards.
As a hair stylist, you will be responsible for providing hair-cutting services to our residents while ensuring that your skills are current and updated in line with industry standards, advances, and trends. You will also be responsible for promoting the services offered and managing a booking system for all residents to enable fair access to the services. You will maintain the workspace ensuring it is always clean and tidy. You will create and maintain a safe, secure, positive, and friendly environment where residents feel welcomed and respected. You will supervise and coach resident barbers to help develop their skills and ensure safety and security.
The ideal candidate will be able to deliver a range of hairdressing styles to people of all ages and ethnicities and have an NVQ Level 2 in Hairdressing.
